It has been quite an exciting year for Little Miss Lilly, and this morning she officially graduated from preschool. Her class held a special "promotion ceremony" in honor of the event. The kids sang a couple of songs and each of the teachers spoke about how much the students have grown over the past year. Then they received their diplomas and celebrated with cookies and lemonade.
The new graduate with her pretty new dress (which her mama had to sew for her at the last minute...you have no idea how hard it is to find a Hawaiian print dress in Southern California.)

With her friend, Luke. He is her "sleeping beauty playmate" if you recall from a previous post. A cute young man, who Hector is keeping his eye on very closely!
