Halloween 2011

I'm taking a quick break from updating the blog with Summer activities, to try to keep things current as well. Okay, so I know that I am still a couple of weeks behind, but at least I'm getting a little bit better.

For Halloween this year the kids chose to be superheroes. Lilly has been planning her costumer since last October, so when I saw them putting out Wonder Woman costumes at Target I made sure to grab one right away. While we were there, Alexander picked out the Iron Man costume and we were set.

It was quite the eventful holiday...taking up the last 2 weeks of October. The kids both had Halloween parties at school, plus there was a party at the apartment complex. On Halloween night we took Alexander and Lilly to the Brea Block Party, which is a big carnival with games and rides in downtown Brea. Everything is free and they hand out a ton of candy. Here are some pictures from the festivities.

This is what happens when Hector helps Lilly with her homework.Ready to go!
